"Every spring, when the trees will blossom, residents of Kramatorsk will remember the support and friendship between the Japanese and Ukrainian people", — the Japanese Ambassador to Ukraine Shigeki Sumi said during the landing of sakuras in Kramatorsk.

Recently, the Mother's Square in Kramatorsk was decorated with 30 sakuras. Trees will be watered by the forces of the communal enterprise. Sakuras are brought from the Odessa nursery and adapted to our weather.

Among the immediate intentions — together with the municipalities to land cherry blossoms in all the cities where the "Japanese trail" remain, and Japan helped with the restoration of the infrastructure destroyed by the war.

Developing further relations between the Donetsk region and Japan, the authorities of Donetsk region together with the ambassador discussed the prospects of opening the Japanese industrial park in the territory of the region. Shigeki Sumi assured that he would do everything possible to invite Japanese business to Donbas.
