Suspects in the Crash of the MH17 over Donbass Will Be Judged in The Hague

The trial of suspects in the crash of the Malaysian Boeing in Donbass will be held in The Hague.

It was stated in the parliament by the Minister of Security and Justice of the Netherlands Stef Blok, «Gordon» writes.

"The Hague court is the logical choice for this process," Blok said, adding that the meeting may not be held in The Hague, but in a place outside the city.

Criminal investigation of the circumstances of the disaster continues. Officially, no one was suspicious. The court can use the conviction procedure in absentia.

Recall, the suspects in the attack on the flight of MH17 "Malaysian Airlines" will be judged in the Netherlands under the Dutch law.

According to the report of the International Investigation Group, presented on September 28, the Malaysian Boeing 777 MH17 was shot down on July 17, 2014 in the field in the area of Pervomayskoye (formerly - Snezhnyanskiy district of Donetsk region, now - the territory controlled by the "DNR") with the help of an antiaircraft complex "Buk". The investigation has 100 suspects, whose names and citizenship are not disclosed at the moment.

In the plane crash, all 298 people died, including 80 children on board. Most of the dead were citizens of the Netherlands, Malaysia and Australia.

As reported, relatives of the victims of the Boeing 777 MH17 flight and representatives of the International Investigation Group asked to respond to eyewitnesses or people who have any information about what happened.
