Olga Lyashchuk, a native Donetsk resident, won the title of the strongest woman in the world in Las Vegas.
The sportswoman won a gold medal at the first World Championship among Strongwomen-professionals «Strongest Woman in the World Olimpia», 5 Channel reports.
It is noted that on the way to her victory, Lyashchuk was daily engaged in 5 hours, and at the most crucial moments of the competition, she thought about her parents who remained in the occupied Donetsk.
«I promised to father that I will go to the goal, do not stop, and since my father died that year, now this is my main incentive», said the strongest Ukrainian woman, having arrived in Kiev.
It is worth noting that after the triumph in Las Vegas, Olga Lyashchuk consolidated her title with a gold medal and two world records, which she established at the Arnold Sports Festival in Arnold Schwarzenegger's European Festival in Barcelona.
