Russian Bomber Was Spotted over Occupied Donbas — OSCE

In the occupied Donbas, 32 kilometers from Donetsk, observers of the OSCE monitoring mission noticed a Russian strategic bomber that flew from north to south and then in the opposite direction.

The plane was spotted in the outskirts of the village of Starobesheve, according to the OSCE SMM report.

«While positioned in the south-western outskirts of Starobesheve (non-government-controlled, 32 km south-east of Donetsk), the SMM saw a flying object south-east of its location flying from south-west to north-east. Based on hand-held imagery, the SMM assessed it as a swept wing four-engine turbo-prop aircraft (likely a Tupolev TU-95 or Tupolev TU-142)», — it is said in the report.

The TU-95 is a Russian strategic bomber-rocket carrier, the fastest in the world of aircraft with turbine engines.

Locals also saw this plane over the occupied Donbas that day, some of them even tried to capture it on video, since planes have not been flying over occupied territories for 5 years already.

Trying to take pictures of the plane, residents noted that it was flying incredibly fast.
