Donbas Underwater Sportsmen Won 10 Awards of World Cup in Swimming

In Italian Lignano, the second stage of the 2019 World Cup in swimming with flippers took place. About 600 athletes from 19 countries took part in the competition. The national team of Ukraine included five students of Severodonetsk sports school «Sadko».

According to the results, divers from the Luhansk region brought 10 medals to the national team.

The master of sports of Ukraine of international class, Denys Levin, became a three-time silver medalist at a distance of 50 m diving, 100 m with an aqualung and 4 by 100 relay swimming.

On the account of the master of sports of Ukraine of international class Volodymyr Sushchenko gold in swimming in flippers of 400 m and second place in the 4 by 100 relay swimming among young men.

Master of Sports of Ukraine Tetyana Khripunova won three medals — gold in the relay race of 4 100 meters among girls and silver and bronze for 200 and 100 meters swimming in flippers.

The international-class master of sports of Ukraine, Valentyna Reznik, won a silver medal in the women's 4 to 100 meters relay, and Dmytro Serebryakov, the sports master of Ukraine, became the second in the men's 4 to 100 meters relay.
