Manufacturers of clothes, bed linen, eco-bags and soft toys from the Donetsk region during a visit to textile companies in Germany learned about new technologies that allow their foreign colleagues to successfully develop their business, "Business-East" reports.
"The Germans are ready for dialogue," assured one of the founders of the sewing industry in Germany during a meeting with the Ukrainian delegation. Today the trademark "Peterseim" is a successful enterprise in the production of unique knitwear.
The leading positions are provided by smart technologies, which are used in the tailoring of clothing - the connection of textiles and electronics. Stories about technological threads containing magnetic and electrically conductive fibers aroused great interest among entrepreneurs of the Donetsk region. Products with such a composition are used in the medical, automotive and construction industries.
Also, Ukrainians were impressed by the modern equipment. "We did not even know about the existence of some machines," the entrepreneurs admitted. "These are invaluable for us experience and knowledge, which we will definitely use."
"Germany is ready to integrate us into its production chains if we create a unique product, but so far no direct contracts are being discussed," said Anna Petrichenko, head of the textile cluster of residents of the Donetsk region. "But for us, it is a push to understand our strengths and weaknesses".
