How Donbas Residents Voted in the Second Tour of the Presidential Election in Ukraine

The second round of the presidential election took place yesterday in Ukraine.

The presidential election was held in 18 districts in Donbas. 1211 polling stations worked in the Donetsk region, and 536 in the Lugansk region. In the Joint Forces Operation zone, 79 special polling stations were formed for the military, «Vchasno» NA reports.

Over 100 violations of the electoral law were recorded in the Donetsk region on the day, 4 criminal proceedings were initiated.

57,23% of voters have voted in the Donetsk region.

In the Lugansk region, 56,35% of people have voted.

In total, 62,09% of Ukrainian voters have made a choice.

The lowest number of voters was registered in the Zakarpattya region (46,38%).

13.33% of voters voted in a foreign constituency.

According to the Central Election Commission, after processing 99.45% of protocols, a showman, TV humorist Volodymyr Zelensky won the presidential election with 73.23% of votes.
