Training of Ukrainian tankers by NATO standards was conducted in the ATO zone, IA "Vchasno" reports with reference to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is reported that the exercises were held at one of the polygons of the operational-tactical grouping "Lugansk".

"First, tankmen showed their skills while driving in difficult territory conditions with theoretical damage to visual observation blocks. The sense of the exercise is that for the driver observation devices (trimplexes) is taped, and then the commander of the vehicle, with the help of radio communication, directs the actions of the driver-mechanic", the General Staff reported.

According to the commander of the unit Sergei, it is advisable to train such an exercise, because during the fighting there are many cases of damage to the instruments of supervision of the driver. Therefore, the interaction between crew members must be absolute.

"The combat vehicle confidently carries out the passage in the mine-blasting boom, stops on the rise and descent, overcomes the anti-tank ditch with the passage, the section of obstacles and maneuvers," the report says.
