According to the majority of surveyed Ukrainians (67%), the peace is the thing that Ukraine currently lacks most, while in the last six months this figure has increased from 62% to 67%.
40% believe that the state lacks a stability, 37% - an order, 34% - a prosperity, 31% - a development, 28−30% - a unity and justice.
This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey conducted by the Center «Social Monitoring», «Ukrainian Institute for social research after Oleksandr Yaremenko», «Info Sapiens» company and the «Rating» sociological group, «Vchasno» NA reports.
The issues of peace are more relevant for the West, the South, and Donbas, of stability for the capital region and the south-eastern regions, of development for the Center, the North, the South, and the East, of unity for Halychyna and Donbas. Questions of order, fairness and prosperity are more or less equally relevant for respondents in virtually all macro-regions.
Citizens surveyed in Donbas believe that the country lacks peace (77%), stability (44%) and unity (31%).
It is noted that the poll was conducted from 19 to 30 January 2019. The sample was 10,000 respondents in all regions of Ukraine (excluding the population of Crimea and the occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions).
