A meeting of the chairman of the Donetsk regional state administration (DRSA) Olexandr Kuts with the delegation of GIZ (Germany) took place in Kramatorsk. During the meeting, the parties discussed the humanitarian needs of the region and developed the concept of the GIZ project «Health and Social Sphere», the press service of the DRSA reported.
The proposed project is a separate measure within the framework of German support in overcoming the consequences of the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.
«The Donetsk region’s health care institutions are in urgent need of modern diagnostic and medical equipment. We are interested in expanding our cooperation. In turn, we do our best to ensure that the support will be provided effectively», Olexandr Kuts said during the meeting.
It is noted that the project agreement was reached within the framework of the Ukrainian-German intergovernmental talks in autumn in Berlin. The project envisages financing of 10 million euros and is intended for three years.
