It was reported by Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the European Commission for Financial Stability and Financial Services, during his visit to the Donetsk region, IA "Vchasno" reports with reference to the Ministry of temporarily occupied territories.
The European commissioner said that the European Commission intends to send 50 million euros to the territories located near the line of contact.
"Recently, we decided to provide Ukraine with an additional 200 million euros, of which 50 million euros will be sent to the territories that are located near the line of contact," Valdis Dombrovskis said. "We must support citizens living in this territory to provide humanitarian assistance and assistance aimed at reconstruction."
