"The US constantly stresses that Russia is responsible for what is happening in Donbas, and we will do our best to help to settle the situation in eastern Ukraine," U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker said during a meeting with the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov, the press service of the NSDC reports.
In addition, Volker noted that the United States appreciates cooperation with Ukraine.
"We appreciate the cooperation with you and welcome the processes of reforming in the security and defense sector of Ukraine," he said.
Earlier it was reported that U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) Oleksandr Turchynov during an official meeting discussed the adoption of the law on the reintegration of Donbas.
