In the Podilsk direction, the enemy is trying to continue the offensive along the border of Horenychi, Hostomel, Demidiv in the direction of Kyiv in order to block the capital from the northern and north-western directions.
Russia bombarded a Kyiv TV tower and the Babyn Yar Holocaust memorial site.
In the Zhytomyr Oblast there are up to three BTGs from the 5th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District of the armed forces of the Russian federation.
In the northern direction, up to seventeen BTGs of the occupying forces, despite the loss of manpower and equipment, continue offensive operations to block Kyiv from the northeast. The invaders were stopped in the areas of Kozelets, Bobrovytsia, and Makiiv. In the other direction, in the areas of the settlements Svitilnya, Peremoha, and Hostroluchcha, the enemy troops lost their offensive potential.
Enemy troops with forces up to two BTGs make unsuccessful attempts to keep the heroic Ukrainian cities of Sumy, Lebedyn and Okhtyrka surrounded.
In the Slobozhansky direction up to sixteen BTGs continue the offensive operation in the direction of Krasnohrad and part of the forces up to four BTGr on Izyum. The invader suffered losses and was stopped near the settlements of Bohodukhiv, Chuguiv, Shevchenkove.
The Russians are wiping Kharkiv off the face of the earth.

In the Tavriya direction, the enemy continues its offensive operations in the areas of the settlements of Skadovsk, Hola Prystan, Kherson, Snihurivka, and Nova Kakhovka. After regrouping the enemy continues to move in the direction of Kherson and Mykolayiv. Up to two BTGr operates in the areas of settlements Vasylivka, Chervone Pole, Novopetrivka.
In the Black Sea Operational Zone, the enemy deploys a naval group and continues preparations for a naval landing operation.
Unsuccessful in advancing its forces, the enemy insidiously continues to launch missile and bomb strikes on critical infrastructure in order to intimidate the civilian population, which is courageously sided by side with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The moral of the enemy and his will to win are rapidly declining due to the steady defense of Ukrainian troops.

Russian Federation fire mostly on the civilian population and civilian infrastructure
In 1949, as a result of the devastating World War II, European countries adopted the most important instrument of international humanitarian law — the four Geneva Conventions. With the ratification of which the countries of the civilized world have confirmed their intention never to allow such a tragedy again, says Lyudmyla Denisova — Commissioner for Human Rights in Ukraine.
At the heart of these conventions and their protocols is the prohibition of killing and ill-treatment of civilians, the destruction of civilian infrastructure and the use of weapons that cause undue damage or unnecessary suffering.

The city of Kharkiv is shelled by cluster bombs filled with «petal» mines that are recognized as illegal weapons under the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Cluster Munitions and on Their Destruction.
