Over 70 People from the List of Militants Refused to Return to the Occupation during the Exchange of Prisoners

Over 70 people from the list of the "LDNR" militants refused to return to the occupied territory during the exchange.

The final figures of the exchange at 74/306 - 73/233. From the list of militants 73 people refused to return to the occupation. This was reported by the press secretary of the Prosecutor General Larysa Sargan referring to Deputy Prosecutor General Angela Stryzhevskaya.

Some of them, having served their sentence in free territory, did not come to the place of exchange. Others did not want to return to the “LDNR”.

"Of those who we took from the occupied territory, one woman refused to return to the territory controlled by Ukraine, said she has a pro-Ukrainian position, but the family in Donetsk, so she remains. 26 people refused to go to CDDLR during a direct exchange", - Sargan wrote on her FB page.

According to the press secretary of the Prosecutor General, adhering to international norms, the Ukrainian side did not exchange citizens of Russia, citizens of other states and acted in accordance with the agreements within the framework of the Minsk agreements.

"The Ukrainian side is ready to continue work for the release of all Ukrainians who are illegally detained in the occupied territories of Ukraine and the Russian Federation", - Sargan noted.
