Picture from Frontline Avdiivka Got on the TOP-100 Photos of the Year according to TIME

The editors of the American edition of TIME published the 100 best photos of 2018 — the list also included a snapshot of photographer Anastacia Taylor-Lind from the frontline Avdiivka, the Donetsk region.

All of the selected rating pictures show various events and people around the world that shook the public: the photo shows, in particular, the effects of fires in California, the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the meeting of US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, the migration crisis in the USA and in the world, and much more.

«From tragedy to celebration, from promising beginnings to somber farewells, these images capture a momentous 2018» noted at TIME. «Photographers pointed their cameras in every direction around the world to reveal these scenes — at times risking their own safety — and brought us along as virtual witnesses.»
